COMMUNICATIONS SPECIALIST/GRAPHIC DESIGNER

The Illinois Primary Health Care Association (IPHCA) is seeking a dynamic, self-motivated, and talented Communications Specialist/Graphic Designer in our Springfield, Illinois office. Reporting to the Associate Vice President of Communications, this position is charged with developing high-quality content and graphics that engages our membership and the public. This position also includes creating informative web and social media content, overseeing all publications, and assisting in the creation of media opportunities to share our organization’s mission and services. The ideal candidate will be an excellent communicator, with brilliant graphic design and organizational skills.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education Required:
- Bachelor’s degree with three years’ experience, or Associate’s degree with five years’ experience in communications, graphic design, public relations or related field.
Competencies Required:
- Proven experience creating targeted content.
- Experience with Adobe, including InDesign and Illustrator.
- Experience with back-end website design, preferably WordPress.
- Strong knowledge of communication practices and techniques.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent organizational abilities.
