In order to encourage growth and refine our member organizations’ health strategies, IPHCA believes in providing comprehensive instructional programs based on sound medical research and addressing today’s health crises.

Adult Mental Health First Aid

Mental Health First Aid teaches you how to identify, understand and respond to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. This 8-hour training gives you the skills you need to reach out and provide initial support to someone who may be developing a mental health or substance use problem and help connect them to the appropriate care.

Target Audience
Front office staff, security personal, peer support specialists, case managers, community health workers, volunteers, and anyone who has direct contact with patients and the community.
