IPHCA's 2013 Annual Leadership Conference
October 2 - 4, 2013

Wednesday through Friday, attendees of the annual conference can participate in sessions on a variety of topics including:
- Accountable Care Organization & Coordinated Care Models
- Managing Care Contracting & Its Impact on CHCs
- Meaningful Use
- FQHC Billing & Finance
- Human Resources
- Management & Leadership
- Patient Centered Medical Home
- Best Practices for Using Quality of Care Data
A block of rooms are reserved for October 1 - October 4, 2013. Block cut-off date is September 16, 2013.
Rates (Standard guest room):
- Single/double: $119 plus tax
- Triple: $129 plus tax
- Quad: $139 plus tax
- Pool view upgrade add $20/night
- Harbor view upgrade add $40/night
Resort services fee of $12 per night, which includes: local calls, toll free calls, use of 24-hr business center, use of high speed internet in guest rooms, in room safes, individual transportation to area attractions, weekday newspaper, valet parking, and use of available sports equipment.
Individuals may make reservations now. For reservations, call (800) 709-1323, then press #2, and identify yourself as part of Illinois Primary Health Care Association to receive the group rate. Check-in is 4:00 p.m., check-out at 12:00 p.m. Credit card is required at check-in.
Member participation and leadership are critical as we continue to advance health center issues on the state and federal levels. Toward this goal, and in accordance with the IPHCA bylaws, Henry Taylor must make the following leadership appointments:
* Members, chairs and vice-chairs of the IPHCA Standing Committees
* Members of the Administrative and Operations Standing Committees
* Chairs-elect for the Professional Staff and Community Board Member Advisory Panel
To assist him in making selections for these various roles, please nominate yourself and/or your colleagues.

and e-mail or fax it. Nomination forms will also be made available in the 2013 IPHCA Annual Conference materials, October 2-4. Those submitting a form before or during the conference will be eligible for a prize to be drawn during the closing luncheon of the conference on October 4. You do not need to be present to win.
To be considered, nomination forms must be submitted by Friday, October 4. At that time, I will review the list of nominees and make appointments accordingly. Thank you for your ongoing commitment of time and knowledge. As a general rule, committees meet on a quarterly basis. With the exception of the fourth meeting that is held in conjunction with the IPHCA Annual Leadership Conference, each meeting may be attended via teleconference.
