Clinicians serving at IPHCA member CHCs are engaged with the Association through a variety of activities. These include the Clinical Support Committee, a standing committee appointed by the IPHCA Board and the Clinician Professional Staff Section (CPSS) that meets once a year at the IPHCA Annual Leadership Conference. In addition, other groups meet periodically through the year including the Medical Directors' Roundtable - a forum to promote peer to peer communications among medical/clinical directors, the Behavioral Health Discussion Group that promotes information sharing, learning, and networking among behavioral health clinicians, and the Dental Directors group that meets in-person annually as a networking opportunity and provide education on pressing issues or current topics .  

In addition, IPHCA staff arranges periodic trainings and provides technical assistance related to Quality Improvement that include assistance for developing Quality Improvement plans, peer review protocols, Patient Centered Medical Home recognition and practice transformation processes, Uniform Data System (UDS) data collection & reporting, Joint Commission Accreditation, and other clinical quality improvement related activities.


At the IPHCA Annual Leadership Conference, clinicians are able to attend a variety of clinical sessions and are offered Continuing Education credits. IPHCA also provides complimentary recruitment services resulting in the placement of qualified clinicians in health centers. IPHCA's quarterly newsletter IPHCA Health SourceTM, also features articles dedicated to clinical matters. IPHCA staff and clinicians serving at member centers contribute timely articles for this section.
